Parking

Parking at the Hotel

On-site parking at the Sheraton La Jolla Hotel is not included. The daily rate is $27. Limited free street parking is available on Holiday Court.

Parking on Campus

Parking on the UCSD campus requires a permit. Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation or carpool to avoid parking fees. If you must drive, visitor parking permits can be purchased online with the ParkMobile App, but these are more expensive (see below for a lower cost option). The closest parking structure to Price Center is Gilman Parking Structure and the closest one to the Jeannie is Scholars Parking Structure. Please visit the UCSD Conference Parking page for more information on campus parking.

A lower cost parking option is the Nights/Weekends permit. To get one, you need to this link: https://ucsd-transportation.t2hosted.com and register an account. You’ll need to click “Add Vehicle” and provide your car information (permits are validated by scanning license plates). Then go to Permits and select “Nights/Weekends” to purchase one. A PDF guide can be found here: UCSD Parking Instructions.

For information on which spots you can use Nights/Weekends, see below (from this link). Valid NW permits allow parking in these spaces:

  • S: 3 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. weekdays and all day on weekends
  • D: 3 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. weekdays and all day on weekends
  • B: 4 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. weekdays and all day on weekends
  • A: 5 p.m. – 7 a.m. weekdays and all day on weekends; not valid where posted “A permit required 24 hours a day/7 days a week.”

This will work in either Parking Garage.
